Awwwwwkward
The Vancouver Canucks bowed out of the playoffs last night, but not before Daniel and Henrik Sedin left us with an awkward goal celebration. The Sedin brothers are normally on the same page, however on this occasion someone zigged when they should have zagged.
Even though Henrik left Daniel hanging and their celebration was clumsy at best, over the years there have been other displays of affection that have ended up much worse. Take Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love’s failed handshake at the free throw line with teammate Wesley Johnson for example.
It’s one thing for a celebration to look foolish, but they can also become dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. Watch former Arizona Cardinals kicker Bill Gramatica tear his knee apart after making this field goal against the Giants.
